Kenyon MartinSeemingly a formality with Rasheed Wallace done for the regular season, Marcus Camby just working his way back from a two-month bout with plantar fasciitis and the Knicks looking for insurance in the frontcourt, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon that it has signed veteran forward Kenyon Martin to a second 10-day contract.

The former No. 1 overall pick out of Cincinnati had not played in the NBA this season until signing a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Feb. 23. Since then, he has only played in one game, against the Golden State Warriors on Feb. 27. There, he only saw five minutes of action off the bench and did not record any stats. When this 10-day contract expires on March 14, the Knicks will need to decide whether or not the they want to sign him for the remainder of the season.
