Amar’e says he will be out ‘a week or two’ with ankle sprain and bone bruise

Amar’e Stoudemire had an MRI on his ankle on Friday and said that he has an ankle sprain and bone bruise.

He tweeted that he expects to be out for “a week or two.” The team says they expect him to miss two weeks.

Amar’e left Thursday night’s game against the Pacers in the third quarter after driving to the basket and coming up lame. He stayed in to take his foul shots before heading to the locker room.

Amare has to be the worst signing in Knick history. Thank you Donnie. We had dreams of Stat and Melo but then he punched the fire hydrant. Let him play injured. Let him play until his announces his retirement.

@SuperDuper I agree with you on all aspects of your post.

Donnie Walsh gets credit like no one else could have what his did.

Remember Donnie would have taken Deron Williams over Mello and he gave away a first round pick for crippled Tracy McGrady.

Now Amare

He had one good half a season with the Knicks.

People jumping up and down saying he came here when no one else would have.....B.S. dude came here because he was offered $100 million.

And the Knicks go burned....AGAIN!

@ExpectTheWorstHAHAHA lol.  Lets see if the whole "playing with Stat gives us the losing record" as indicated the past 3 years.

Though I STILL say its coincidence lol.  He's only had one bad season (when he plays)...and that was the 2011-12 season when his brother died.
