Amar’e Stoudemire pranks former Knick Metta World Peace

Keith Schlosser, Lead Writer

Well known for playing funny pranks on Metta World Peace in the past, late night television host Jimmy Kimmel looked for an assist from the forward’s former teammate, Amar’e Stoudemire, in order to fool the former Knick yet again.

Take a look below for more.

Pundits are predicting the salary cap to grow to 80 million dollars in 2017 based on revenue growth in the game.

coincidentally both parties have an opt out of the CBA after the 2017 season  .. With the value of franchises going through the roof and super stars being asked to take discounts i bet the players opt out and look for a larger piece of the pie..  They gave up a lot in 2011 and will certainly be looking t get some back...

But the real take away is how an 80 million dollar SALARY CAP effects teams ability to pay star players.   IF the cap is 80 mil you can afford a 25 million dolar player a lot easier.  with the next labor deal likely favoring the players that will add more room to afford max players.

LMAO

Metta - "I'm Metta World Peace. I played… i used to play for the Lakers."

I would have said the same thing. He got his ring with the Lakers. Knicks only gave him indigestion and the pink slip.

P.S. Amare? WTF are you laughing about?

So nice to see our useless $100,000,000 defensive embocile make fun of us not making the playoffs...I know, I know, I'm just a hater...

Joel Embiid aka Oden 2.0 might have broken his foot. Looks like Wiggins to the Cavs.

Can't wait until the day he's no longer a Knick. May be the single worst defender I've ever seen, makes Novak look like Bruce Bowen.

@C0P0 he was in Los Angeles.  So he's gonna say he played for the knicks or the lakers?

if he was in NY I'm sure he'd use his knicks credentials... or say he's Queensbridge's own.

@darealeric Gotta' side with you on that one. One of the last people that need to joke about the Knicks sitting home, watching the Playoffs, is Amar'e.

Philly was banking on one of the 2 super SF's to land to them and if he actually broke his foot, Wiggins-Parker will go 1-2 and Philly will probably trade the 3. Don't know if they can sell their fans on drafting to injured bigs in back to back years.

@knickfan2 I like how Meta replies "oh I used to play ball a long time ago"

@BiggieTKB LOL. Probably! What was Amare's excuse for throwing his boys under the bus?

@C0P0 just said a stupid thing.  What's Eric and Sandro's excuse for throwing their team under he bus daily?

@BiggieTKB

Stupid?

WF planet are you from?

Nothing new about bloggers and their opinions here, but Amare, one of the highest paid members of the Knicks should have had better judgment, if not just better taste in his flippant dig at the team that puts $100M in his pocket.

His contract and health are an albatross.

No one wants him in a trade, he's been injured half the time he's been a Knick, plays defense like a JV league doofus and throws his current team under a bus in a joke like it's all good.

You are stupid for trying to snap at everyone that makes a point. You need to calm the F down sometimes and comment when it matters, not every time the wind blows.

I'm fair on how I get down. I take no sides, only the right one.
