This will be Tyson Chandler’s first trip to the All-Star game, and is definitely well deserved.

For the season, Chandler is averaging 12.2 points, 11 rebounds and 1 block and is shooting a pretty ridiculous 67% from the field, all while the reigning Defensive Player of the Year continues to anchor the Knicks’ D. He’s also perfected the tap-back rebound, a tactic that has proven extremely effective at not only getting the team extra possessions, but one imagines just annoying all hell out of the opposition’s fans, something that is certainly a perk.

Congratulations to Chandler, and all those who wear his jersey, it’s like an All-Star game for all you folks, as well.
