The Knicks (32-43) beat the Utah Jazz (23-52) by a score of 92-83 Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Monday’s win marked just the second time this season that the Knicks came back to win after being behind after the first half. The Jazz held a 49-48 lead over New York at the midway point.
The Knicks gained a lead that they would not give up after a 12-2 run toward the end of the third quarter. New York outscored the Jazz 31-20 in the third.
Carmelo Anthony led the team with 34 points and had the second most rebounds on the team with eight in 39:19 on the court.
Tyson Chandler had nine rebounds, marking not only the most on the team, but the most he’s had in a single game since March 21 when he registered 10.
With the win — and the Philadelphia 76ers loss — the Knicks remain one game back of the 8th place Atlanta Hawks.
