Game 21: Bulls @ Knicks, 8pm

Screen shot 2013-12-11 at 5.56.31 PM

Tonight at 8pm, the Knicks host the Chicago Bulls at MSG.

The Knicks (5-15) are currently a bad basketball team. Expecting them all of a sudden to be a good one is baseless.

That said, the Bulls (8-11) hobble into New York as injured as a team can be. Aside from Rose being done for the year, Chicago was missing Deng, Butler and Noah last night. Depending on how many of those guys are back tonight, the Knicks might even stand a chance.

Felton re-injured his hamstring last night and is unlikely to play. Prigioni will start in his steed assuming he cannot go. Even with Martin likely available, Amar’e will try and play in his first back-to-back of the season.

Woodson in the huddle:  We got to get back to playing our game.  JR better get back in there.

In the Dallas - GS game they just broadcast Mark Jackson in the huddle.  How come we never get to hear Woodson in the huddle? LOL

They won, they won!, as long as changes aren't made, they are still losing.

A W is a W.

It was disgusting, no doubt. But we gotta take whatever we can get with such a gruesome record.

Woodson's thinking is disturbingly simple. Whenever things get tight, he forces iso (which aren't really iso's, they're just "dumo the ball to Melo while we watch scenarios), and makes things easy for opposing teams to defend. Obviously he's not gonna adjut that, he hasn't ever since he got here, and it'll remain the same if the team decides to win, but he's going abotu it in a very wrong fashion, which is why he shouldn't keep the job.

There are multiple people on here that were rooting hard for the Bulls. Only so that they could complain more and more. It hurts them inside that we won.

Alright we won....Based on this what should we do rotation and lineup wise?

Woodson looks so relieved...lol

Who knew a win could be so embarrassing? Woodson has GOT to go

Bulls steal the ball and wind up with a six point play.

A win does not forgive how horribly we played tonight.

JR single handedly let Chicago come back.

Anyone who roots for a Knicks loss is not a Knick fan, regardless of the circumstances. That said, just because they win doesn't mean they're above criticism.

Wrong. The game they played in the 2nd half won't get them anywhere. This bulls team is missing half it's roster.

I root for the Knicks to play well. When they dont I call them out on their awfulness. Deal with it.

I have to watch the rewind later but i thought we had this in the bag when I left the house.  Still can't believe the Bulls could have mounted a run with that lineup in our house.

Yes a win is a win but we have to keep this going especially in our house.

I'm sure the NBA is trembling watching us nearly blow a 20pt lead against the Rose-less, Deng-less, Butler-less Bulls.

If STATues had a good game then that's awesome and I surely wouldn't have played hm.  I think he's Mr. Ed but if he can take us anywhere other than the glue factory, I'm ok with it.

Must watch the rewind to comment specifically though.

Dislike for the "vaunted" statement.

You're really feeling confident after that?

kneggyknik

Wrong, guy, we want the great defensive specialist gone. Losses should provide that. This win could have been just another knicks meltdown.

@CL4nyk NObody's confident after that, how could we, it was an awful game? But at this point, with our record, every W should be appreciated.

Rooting for a team to lose is just wrong.

I think pretty much anyone who's been a Knick fan for more than 10 years has beeen laughed at, especially the past 10 years.

YEP.  It's regular season and I will take a win anyway any how.  I'm just ed tired of being a laughingstock in my family for rooting for awful teams.

Where is the f##king law of average.?

@MetsKnicks @Sandro Guedes I think most want the team to win, and understand that the Coach is not helping the team, but actually hurting them and has to be let go. Dolan is only going to do this under dire circumstances, and this creates a conundrum   for many of us

We're not playing the Bulls minus 3 of their 4 best players the remaining 60 games.

VerySilentJay

@CL4nyk I don't think anyone's jumping with joy by the way the team won, but given our situation, another loss would've been killer.

At this point, yuo gotta take whatever you can get.

CL4nyk

Who was rooting for the loss? I would NEVER do that.

But you'll have to excuse me if I'm not jumping for joy with the Knicks performance.

Dude stat played a very good game. And made a key shot down the stretch. Stop it.
