It's about building right now. I personally thought the team would come out flat after they botched it in Houston but they came out strong and were pretty much in control throughout the game against a lifeless Dallas team. I feared the low IQ of our "coach" would rub off in the team again in the 4th but Kmart and Shump came to the rescue.

Now it's not about coming out and saying "the ship has been rigted" or whatever. It's about taking it one game at a time, approach .500, and see were the roster stands at that point. It's about building one game at a time, not looking forward

Very happy with this Texas trip. Happy with the defense and happy Melo got help tonight. Shump regained his confidence. Also encouraging to see we only took 13 3's. Let's keep this going.

As for the game, glad to see the team playing better. (But not there yet). Looking forward to our PGS getting healthy

Amazing that some obvious non Knick fans spend all their time on this site. How sad.

Downside: Woodson will take this win as evidence that the Amar'e-Bargnani frontcourt holds promise moving forward.

If Stat Keep consistent and injury free would you resign him for a vet min or something of that nature, or just cut ties?

@Kiyan Carter He has more talent, he can dominate a game, and at the same time kill his own team

@akamarbhonestly, what does this Shumpert bashing have to do with this game?  He's been "fire" in 2014

@KNICKOFTIMECut ties.  You don't want him on your team at age 34 or 33...let alone age 35+

@ExpectTheWorst

No way.

They have played better - but two wins is not cutting it.  And they still need better crunch time decision making out there.

@akamarb Let's not rush things. We still need to become a good home team. Right now we play better on the road. This is unacceptable.

MSG needs to go back to being a fortress.

@Elvis Maduro @NoVaCaInE Agreed. The effort has been much better. Detroit will not be an easy matchup. Drummond and Monroe are good rebounders, Smith is having an off season so far but he can play and then you have Jennings. He always seems to have great games against us. Also Will Bynum and Stuckey can ball.

Knicks need to come out focused. Need to play hard and start winning some home games.

@akamarb We've seen this team all over the place this season. The ride has been both painful and very unexpected. 3 games isn't nearly enough to make any statements about the team.

I'm very happy with the performances during this trip, they've palyed good ball, but now it's time to be a presence in the East and to keep improving.
