Game 38: Knicks at Bobcats, 7pm

Knicks at Bobcats

The New York Knicks look to win their 6th straight game as they visit the Time Warner Cable Arena to face the Charlotte Bobcats at 7pm.

The Knicks (15-22) will have Tyson Chandler back in the lineup after he missed the past four games with an upper respiratory infection. Mike Woodson said he hopes to play Chandler 25-30 minutes tonight. Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony, and Andrea Bargnani will start along side the big man.

The Bobcats (15-23) also have a player returning from injury. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will start after being sidelined for the past six weeks with a broken hand. Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson, Josh McRoberts, and Al Jefferson are likely to start around the former Kentucky star.

This might be JR last game as a Knick

I really dont understand Iman now a days. His defense is proven to be important to us but his offense is such a mystery. His rookie season we had to beg him not to shopt all the time and he was so aggresive offensively. Now he is so afraid of the ball unless he has 10 ft of space to launch a three. It really baffles me because his jumper was so much worse during his rookie season and he used to jack em up. I used to think maybe Mike Dantoni was more supportive than Woodson but Tim Jr plays half the time and gets the same fg attempts..and dont even get me started on JR.

My point is I dont see how we will come out the gate building leads with our current starting lineup. Besides Melo who will score?

This Loss hurt... It should of been a win. 2 and a half hours of watching our team half ass it due to fatigue. We should of been heading to Indiana on a 6 game winning streak. It would of been a nice boost to morale. Watch Felton get 35 minutes next game and THJ decrease in minutes smh

You know we really lost because we gave up 108 points, not because we had an offensive outage.

Dream team that would beat any squad and go 82-0, sweep the playoffs, and quadruplepeat:

PG - Kyrie / Curry

SG - Harden / Westbrook

SF - LBJ / Paul George

PF - Melo / Durant

C - Howard / Love

Coach - Phil Jackson

Neat-O stat of the night: Raymond Felton had played 73 min in the last 2 games and has racked up 4 assists and 3 turnovers.

i see the cry babies are out in force tonight, boo hoo we lost the world is coming to an end, no wait we're going to the ecf.

these aren't fans they're children playing out their immature emotions about a game they have no clue about, the knicks deserve better than this regardless of the record.

the only way I'm wrong is if we wake up with lowry for JR

Felton is a poor shooting guard. He does not facilitate.

All I want is buckets....is that too much to ask for?

Chandler is back and winning streak ends.Trade Chandler and Shump for a young rebounder and point guard.

The Knicks will make the playoffs but they need to be concerned about keeping Melo and building for 2015 free agency.

ONE more time. we have the worse PG and Coach in the NBA....... where are we going???????  We have NO lottery pick.

The PG issue is real, but it's the NBA . . . every team is bound for some random losses.

Big-picture, the team's generally played well the past two weeks.

Tonight was a night for JT to get some early minutes. AB stank.

We needed this one... But that OT coupled with the late flight killed us. Rest up and prepare for Indy now, that could be a statement game.

I think once prigs gets back, Feltons play might improve, mainly because he will get to rest a bit more. Right now, Woodson doesnt play Murry or Beno enough to really reduce Rays minutes a bit. This is proven by the fact that he usually starts out strong but is winded and makes mistakes in the 2nd half

Are you serious???? We have no bussiness being on the same court as the Pacers.

Chandler was a waste as well. Need to get back up to defensive speed. I'd like to see JT get some.

Again. Why didn't JR Play?

Despite the loss tonight, we do have a winning record in January. Lets hope we play strong against Pacers. We almost beat them before...time for revenge

we'll be ok. We seem to play well against good teams. and we have a 8 game home stand coming up.

I supported Woodson all year...but he needs to go and take FELTOFF with him

@bockers What will Melo have left come playoff time? He's averaging a career high in minutes. He's going to be gassed come playoff time. We wonder why he hasn't been able to hit the shots late in the last two seasons; look no further than his minutes the last two seasons. Woody is going to kill him. He has to rest him.

@brookdon We can't lose these chippies either but Indy would be a great feather in the cap and a confidence builder,

@BiggieSmalls I'm not gonna lie, I'm a harsh critiqic when things don't go our way but I believe we have the potential to finsh strong in our conference. Even make some noise in the playoffs

@moneyball I said it before Felton is extremely inconsistent.

If it turns into a long-term trend, sure, people can start getting riled up again.

@Jerry Gee Not really an excuse but I'm hoping less minutes equals less pressure and more energy...especially since Woodson will be using him in the 4th quarter forever

@Jerry Gee @C0P0 @brookdon Correction "re-builder" is what i really meant. No doubt losing to those bums is a fail but the team played like isht,
