The Knicks are back home after a win in London over the Pistons and will look to build on their two game winning streak as they will be going up against Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and the Brooklyn Nets. This is the fourth and final time the Knicks will play the Nets this season. The Knicks lead the series 2-1 as they defeated the Nets on December 11th 100-97 in Brooklyn, on December 19th, 100-86 at the Garden and lost the first match-up November 26th 96-89 in OT.

Today we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mike Woodson after practice spoke about his impact on our world today and on his own life.

“It means a lot — not for just African-Americans, but for all people,” he said. “His stature, los(ing) his life fighting for equality and peace — things that we’re still struggling with today in our society. It says a lot, that you risk your life for something like that. Yes, it’s opened the doors for me to probably be able to do a lot of things that I do today, but it’s opened the doors for all people of color, and that’s important.” -Via ESPN NY
