Tyler is very aggressive, but can get out of control. He looks promising, but let's see how he does against the top teams. The Heat game should be telling about his ability.

People...pur young guys look good...Tyler...murrary...THJR...Cole even...but u gotta know these guys dont even make the scouting report on other teams..let's temper our expectations s. When the minutes increase...and they get consistent play...opp. Defenses will pay more attention...but nothing really to complain on the young guys.

Do you think chris smith could score 17 points at any point in the NBA?

I don't.

Tyler has to have a spot in this rotation. His shot is actually better looking than bargs.

Tyson chandler still hasn't developed a shot like that.

Nice outlet by Aldrich. Don't see the two handed overhead pass too often these days.

Okay... now I'm starting to be comfortable with the lead.

Put 6'10" Tyler next to 6'11" Garnett and I'd bet there would be a 4-5 inch difference.

@Kiyan Carter

Whatever your off-field mentality, I think your mind has to go to a different place to play with the ferocity of an NFL defensive player.  Sherman's off-field interviews are great.

(The cameras also don't catch the on-field trash talk audio from Brady & Co . . . )

Sherman did nothing wrong...crabtree acted like an idiot when Sherman went to shake his hand...so Sherman out him on blast...it is what it is.

@Biggie

We don't have much of a farm to trade anyway. Rondo isn't close to 100%.

@Jerry Gee I'm pretty sure Stevens didn't walk away happy from this game.

It was pathetic.

Both teams emptied out their bench before the 4th.

@OLDKNICK What do you think Tyler's minutes will do once Amare gets back. Hopefully he's still used in a role to keep Tyson fresh. Love seeing Tyler actually step up when a guard gets beat and contest.

Yup..all the trade him get rid of him talk has gone down as well...interesting.

@Biggie Slowly, but surely.  Let's hope he keeps it up.

@Biggie Yes, he shows discipline in his play and that is coaching in practice.

@Armand N Berdynaj

Tyler had a broken foot, so no he couldn't have helped the team. He couldn't even play.

Doesnt matter if they are a focal point or not...role players get scouted just as much as the main players...because great players will get theirs no matter what. Role players is where u get hurt...how many times have our knicks gotten burned by some role player? It happens.

In fairness, I think Sherman does the handshake/pat on the back routine in a patronizing manner, so I understand Crabtree's irritation.

Ok, let me correct my statement. Tyson hasn't developed any semblance of an offensive game, while other big men develop something productive on offense.

@Kiyan Carter Especially when the win gets your guys an extra quarter off.  Who cares about the final score, as long as they maintain the win.

@franktkb

Chandler is the perfect big man to pair with Melo. He doesn't need the ball on offense. 5-6 from the floor and 13 boards. You need low usage high efficiency players like that.

I recall reading that Garnett always insisted he was listed at 6'11" out of fear he would be pegged as a C rather than a PF
