This offense is so stagnant, the ball never moves! its the same every possession! so predictable! Hes supposably a Defensive coach, thats what the knicks are worst at!

Was DunLeavy available for us to sign this past post season? Right now he'd give us more that Shumpert.

Give the job to Houston then get someone for next year, these guys are just quitting on Mike(except Melo),Mills has a lot of work to do,he must make some kind of moves just to shake things up!

We run the same play to start EVERY game, guys. It never works against the good teams and even when it does it's because Melo can make tough shots.

In retrospect what off season moves would you guys have done differently? Including free agent signings and trades.... I think our draft pick was solid.

Maybe I've become numb to it all, but I just can't get worked up about this loss.  Bad teams lose to good teams.  The Knicks are a bad team.

Great, fire Woodson.  We'll get Herb as interim coach, and go 10-21 for the remainder of the year.  Then this miserable season will finally come to a close, and we can read about where Melo will go for the next three months.

Good Times.

BAD TEAMS FIND IT HARD TO BE CONSISTENT!!! EXCEPT FOR LOSING CONSISTENTLY!!!

if we're gonna turn this season around which we can still make the playoffs we'll need a new philosophy coaching wise and a couple trades

out the door is Woodson,Chandler,Shumpert,Felton in my opinion

if none of the above leave and only Woodson leaves

Herb Williams can't rock

i rather Allan Houston coach them

if you notice our coaching staff has vets that played in the 80s

a lot of the teams on top has coaches that are younger and has younger assistants

we're not only getting out coached by them cause the game has changed drastically we're making no adjustments when necessary

it's like Woodson think teams don't got his plays figured.

hell i watch every game and his system is too predictable.

HE MUST GO.

in the locker room only melo, smith, fat boy got Woodson back. he lost this team a long time ago, but Dolan doesn't see that

I was so pissed when ESPN said we would only win 37 games before the season started.....

I love the idea that if Melo leaves he's winning a championship. He's been out of the first round twice in his career. So unless he finds his way onto a team with a great supporting cast, he's going to wind up on a 3rd team, hearing the same things (doesn't make teams better) making 30m less. I'm fine if they trade him, but IMO he's gonna take his max deal, and hope for the best.

Hey James Dolan ,FIRE WOODSON ALREADY!

Woodson interview template:

Coach, why was it so hard to get into the flow tonight?

"We had a lot of open looks, but the shots just didn't fall. I thought [Raymond, Shumpert] and [Melo] were open at times but they just wouldn't drop, man."

What did you see from [Reggie Jackson] tonight?

"He's a great player, and he hurt us tonight. He's a talented guy who's in the mix for MVP of this league and we just couldn't stay in front of him."

Coach, what about the lack of defensive effort?

"I wasn't happy with our defense today. I have to get these guys focused on making stops. That's on me. We can't keep spotting team [15 points in the fourth quarter] and expect to win."

Why is this team struggling right now?

"Well I can't take anything away from [Oklahoma City] they're one of the most talented teams in this league. They were just better than us tonight."

Tyson doesn't give two fvks about playing help defense on a guard. He's sick of it all.

@Frank Gebel  Quitting on Woodson means you;'re quitting on the team right? If thats the case then they can all bounce...

@Wicksell

Don't do that fvcking awful Bargnani deal...do a deal of Novak, Camby, and the 2018 1st-rounder for Lowry.   Trade Felton to Wizards for 2nd-rounders.Trade 2nd-rounders for Tony Wroten. Trade the Amar'e and the 2016 1st-rounder for Jeff Green and Kris Humphries.

@Wicksell  In hindsight we're all geniuses....Because, and maybe most importantly, no one saw such a huge dropoff coming. There was no way. Until the preseason started no one could've foretold the atrocity we watch night in and out.

I would've gone after Collison. He took a huge paycut to go to LA and he's making the most of it.

I would'ce taken a stab at a vet big.

But like I said, no one saw this coming.

@1harris1  For the love of god if that happens I hope they put any other asst but Herb... walker or anybody but him!

@KnickelusKnickleby  AMEN! Herb is a Dolan's snitch! I have never seen anyone survive 3-4 Head Coaches!

What does he bring that so special to this team?

How is this a roller coaster? It's just a bad team having a bad season.

@Hope4TheBest @Wicksell 41 would get us in the playoffs and put us at .500, but we can't put together enough wins for either. Knicks aren't making the playoffs.

lindro88

Even than it's a long shot. Winning a title in this league, while Lebron, Durant, and a bunch of other younger stars are scattered around is not gonna be easy. If Melo leaves, it will be because in his opinion he has no chance to win here, and 30m isn't enough to have to spend 6 more years in NY coming up empty.

Good point. I'm sure the next loss will be right around the corner, so we'll tune it up

@Mr.Boots @SheSaidSpikeWho  He was the first to voice his concerns over the constant switching.

He was also the first to be public about not understanding Woodson's "defensive philoshophies".

If I'm a C and I'm asked to carry the entire team and anchor everyone night in and night out, constantly spending time on the perimeter while being required to pick up 15 rbs and 2+ blks a game... I'd go crazy. At the same time I'm being asked to score over 10 a game while doing everything else when my PG play is subpar....

And hold...What's the best part? If I don't do the laundry list of requirements I'll get bashed by the media and fans non stop.

Yeah, I wouldn't be too thrilled about it either.

@Jerry Gee @Kiyan Carter  His boy got triped, a triangle on him on every touched the rock. Good coaching. Woody on the other hand awful def stradjedy, switch every pick so Durant gets looks with Ray on him, or nobody is guarding the corner 3. I have never seen such terrible def in the 60 years watching this team

BigChiefTriangle
BigChiefTriangle

@Kiyan Carter

That was because it was a straight-up swap of Wallace-Humphries for STAT.  Adding a 1st-rounder changes things.  WOuld still do the deal if they made us take Wallace instead of Hump.

@Jerry Gee  LOL!!! I will be long gone before that happens but I hear ya!!!
