Friday night at 7:30 p.m. the New York Knicks look to continue their momentum with a second straight victory when they host the Utah Jazz at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks (22-40) have won their past four meetings with the Jazz, including the last three in New York City. This will be the first of two games these two teams play this season, as New York will travel out to Utah at the end of the month. Entering Friday night’s action, the Knicks sit 5.5 games back of the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 8 seed in the East.
Despite the comparable record, the Jazz (21-40) are all but eliminated from playoff contention. The team is 3-10 against Eastern Conference opponents on the road this season an have lost their past four road contests overall. During its current four-game losing streak, Utah’s margin of defeat has been 15.5 points.
