Last night more proof that Woody is a terrible coach.   Aldrich is a strong player.  When Chandler went down Woody could have saved the season if he had given Aldrich minutes.   One more game and then goodbye.

Amazing that ESPN's initial over/under wins total of 37 games is still accurate going into game 82

Is it true the nets are going to retire the nets name next season & go with either the Brooklyn Hipsters or the Brooklyn Transplants? I would never in my lifetime believe that limousine Libs could turn Brooklyn in to Portlandia lmao

Nets Fans coming in here bored because no one wants to talk about their fabricated Team on Nets Blog...Just like Nets in general trying to prove they are somebody

i see it like this no matter if The Nets win a Chip before the Knicks in the near future

they're legacy cannot hold a candle to the New York Knicks. our Playoff push in the 90s hold more weight then both of their Final appearances that MANY FORGOT they was even in it lol

BK NETS The Team no one really give 2 Fvcks about

Perhaps the last night for Woodson as coach, let's celebrate!

The Knicks won their championship for their  pathetic little season, they beat the mighty Nets 3-1,congrats ..really now the Nets got bigger  more important things to do unlike the Knicks  like...the playoffs

I'm not a big fan of Woody as a coach, but there was surely far more wrong with this year's team than just a coach. The Bargnani trade, firing Grunwald, keeping Chris Smith, injuries, Felton's divorce and arrest, JR's drug suspension and antics, along with not adding any talent really denied us the few extra wins that would have put us in the playoffs.

OFF TOPIC: Question for "REAL KNICK FANS"-- Is there any way we can make sure Felton is not our starting pg next year? Please don't say incarceration(bad karma, Lord knows we don't need anymore)!

@BiggieTKB  No disrespected intended - do you still want to be in the predictions business? Haha

Why would we trade a promising young talent like Hardaway, & T.C for a "prototypical" PG? The system that will be ran will have no need for a "Tony Parker".

@tifoso6  I was wondering the same thing months ago honestly im pretty sure everyone on this blog would replace a big man with a big man but not Woody hes too smart for that

@JayGreen  New York is the City and State....Brooklyn is a Borough no wonder all the implant fans was having fun watching us at their arena, BK may be in Playoffs but half ya'll fans is just in it because of guilt

your borough has a team and ya'll used to be Knicks fans now ya'll New York Knick Legacies hold no weight...Spike Lee from BK and is still Loyal

Ya'll Uniforms colors is lazy ya'll just took the Spurs whole swag and Former Knick fans

The Fugazi Nets

even people who rock Nets Apparel feel guilty betraying the Knicks lol

and sales wise Nets won't last in Barclays ya'll can't outsell the Garden with Basketball games half y'all cheap tickets are given away and when ya'll play us we actually come and sell it out to watch the Knicks.

Barclays will strive off of concerts pretty much.

@metro555   First round blow outs/sweep for your precious Nets. They are marginal at best. Don't buy too much popcorn azzhole. You won't need it. LMAO!

@lobcity  Maybe if you change your avatar I could oblige but since you insist on being paranoid about the first Black president---I must abstain.

knicksgirl35

@Knicks_Fanatic  It's up to the coach to be creative through adversity and not fixate on one way of trying to win. You have to adjust to the ups and downs of the season in a flexible manner. Woodson was stuck on stupid --- to summarize his coaching style.

@Ray Jorge  Who's we?  Because unless Phil hires you as GM, I'm pretty sure you have no influence over Felton playing.  But hey, start a petition.

If we go to the triangle, the PG position isn't a traditional role, so one never knows what will happen.

@thatsagoodpoint @Victor Triguero  Couldn't agree more. The season was lost on those 40 pt losses at home, mailing games in against bottom feeding teams, playing for weeks without caring or putting in the work....

That's when it was all over.

To me, this is a desperate effort to show what little heart and pride they have, because they were thoroughly unprofessional (no one walks away free) through the entire season.

jeandd323
jeandd323

@knicksgirl35  We should insist that he shaves his goatee before we let him go !

That is for all the angst he caused us as Knicks fans with his asinine decisions during the season!

JayGreen

@VerySilentJay @JayGreen  I am ..thank you very much!  I mean Melo knows all about First Round Exits...right? Oh wait..thats right... Even with Melo having a CAREER YEAR.. CAREER mind you.. The Knocks STILL didn't make the playoffs..

I mean how TERRIBLE do you have to be to NOT to make the playoffs in the East?!?

I'm not defending Woody by any stretch of the imagination. Time has passed Woody by. The modern NBA is a vastly different game that the 1980's and 1990's, where much of Woody's strategy and systems were devised. As one ages, you can get set in your ways and eschew change and innovation.

@Victor Triguero @BiggieTKB  The Bulls were desperate for that win. Thibbs looked like he was ready to cry out there lol. Either way it was still an empty win for the Knicks.

VerySilentJay

@JayGreen @VerySilentJay  Live in the present. Nate and Belinelli took you out for a dance, and you're likely to bounce in the 1st once again.

Enjoy BK.

LIke I said, bandwagon fans are as low as they get.

The fact that Sandro "liked" your post says it all.

JayGreen
JayGreen

@VerySilentJay Yeah because hanging with the KNicks was the way to go? Lets see..

Since 2000.. the Knicks have won HOW many playoff series? How many? Please tell me have they won at least 3?  The answer is No.. have they even sniffed the Eastern Conference Finals in the 21st century? The answer is also HELL NO

Now I look at the Nets with TWO Appearances to the Finals..plus multiple playoff series wins.... and now were back .. vs the Knicks and the Reign of Errors that took place..and you saying *MY TEAM* has no future?

Umm we ALSO have tons of cap space in the year you're pinning your hopes to do anything significant.. that would be 2015.. just about ALL of our contracts come off the books ...so we will ALSO be in the market for great free agents...Phil Jackson aint coaching and he'll spend most of his time in LA boning Jeanie (not mad at that tho)

LOL The Knick Motto.. JUST WAIT UNTIL [Insert name of desired savior here.. OR Insert name of year year here]

Still doesn't change the fact that you're going fishing baby!... Enjoy that #Knickstape!

VerySilentJay
VerySilentJay

@JayGreen @VerySilentJay  Yes, so does DWill, "the leader".

I'm not making any excuses for my craptastic team, but you not only jumped on the badwagon (the lowest of the low, sad excuses for lifeforms, pathetic exuses for fans) into a team that has no other future than a 1st roubd exit from now until next season. Then it's over.

Keep truckin'

To be honest the Knicks future is much brighter then nets! Nets are very old with zero cap relief coming! D-Will is broken! Joe is good on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Pierce and KG are absolutely done, Lopez is good but fragile! Nets will never get past 2nd round and next year will be worse! Knicks are on the upswing. Phil is a winner, multiple millions coming off books for 2015! 2 very solid young players in Shump & THJR, melo( way better then anybody on Nets)! You sir chose poooorly!!

knicksgirl35
knicksgirl35

@Knicks_Fanatic @knicksgirl35  We need a young coach then. Get some fresh thinking. No more mothball coaching.

Working on skills and fundamentals never goes out of style.
