As the Knicks look to add to another veteran into the camp mix as well as what looks to be 20 bodies to camp next week, one player that we haven’t talked much about is James White. I was expecting more from White during the summer league, but with White’s athleticism I can see him getting an opportunity to break through and try to find some minutes on the wing. Bottom line for White is that the Knicks need players to attack the basket and not settle for jump shots. If White can use his gifted athleticism to get to the rim it will cause the defense to pay attention and for bigs to have to help opening up plays for bigs inside and shooters outside. With camp a week away, it will be interesting how long of a look White will get offensively
