I understand he’s almost 40 years old, but the acquisition of Kidd for this season may be the one that I’m most excited to see. On the court the guy is a warrior, and a player who does what it takes to win. If he can perform anywhere near where he did for Dallas in 2011, the Knicks will be an incredibly improved team. I know his numbers last year weren’t great, but I think we can agree that last season’s schedule wasn’t conducive to many an athlete. Woodson will have to be careful with Kidd’s usage, but I believe the guy is really going to help on both sides of the ball this year.
