Kenyon Martin had an MRI on his left ankle on Friday and it revealed a sprained ankle and tendinitis.

He is expected to be sidelined for two weeks.

Does Woodson go with the same starting 5 tonight? I'll go out on a limb and say yes he does.

here's a suggestion, why not use a lineup that nearly won every game they played together of Pablo, Felton, Shump, Melo and Tyson..but hey what do i know

Jeremy Tyler should be given a shot.  Or Cole Aldrich.  Might also consider just playing small ball with Bargs at the 5 now but that would require some adjustments from Woody, which again probably isn't happening.

So, for the next 2 weeks the Knicks are down to Chandler, Tyler, Melo, Cole and Bargs.

I wonder how Woodson would play this out. To me, this would be the time to go back to a two-pg lineup. Felton being the only pg on the court is just not very successful.

Hopefully this means some minutes for Tyler.

Next man up as Thibs would say.

Melo will get to play a WHOLE lot of PF now ;)

@Seth Nadler

Yeah that's exactly what the Knicks need slow Pablo trying to guard super quick Collison and more of Felton jacking up shot after shot believing that he is 6-0" two guard and the reincarnation of A.I.

@bloopYou feel bad for Amare? We gutted two yrs to sign Amare to a ridiculous contract nobody came close to matching. A third of the team we gutted made the allstar since.

@ds2488

I would put Tyler at the 4 and AB at the 5 and keep them there and look to unload Chandler ASAP!

@VerySilentJay yeah right lol.  I wish, but it probably just means more Felton and JR.  This "coach" will play JR at center if he has to.

@VerySilentJay I wish but seriously doubt it. Woodson probably going to go small to keep his rotation veteran saturated and rookie free.
