Knicks could be worth $3 billion

The Los Angeles Clippers, the second franchise in L.A. and a historical losing team, were just sold for $2 billion to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

What does that make the Knicks worth?

An analyst with Albert Freid and Company surmises that the Knicks could be worth about $3 billion and revised their target price for MSG’s stock to $85 per share. Shares were at $57 Friday morning (Financial Times).

Dolan needs to sell the team. He sux as an owner and set this team back since the Melo trade

With Clips who are 2nd class team in their city and arena, which they don't even have their own, selling for $2B the Knicks being valued at $3B actually seems low to me.

It's amazing how Knicks value has increased while Dolan has done everything in his power to run this team into the ground with his ineptness in putting together a winning product.

My Chinese restaurant says NO MSG!, but I did pick up some MSG last week. Looks like with Ballmer and the Rangers, it could make a nice move.

@theking @buddhabing He's in charge and has final say on all basketball moves. If he hasn't been the major factor in this teams horrendous run of basketball in the last 15 or so years i don't know who is.
