The Knicks and Kenyon Martin have reached an agreement on a deal, according to his agent Andy Miller.
Martin played in 18 regular season games for the Knicks last season, averaging 10.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per 36 minutes. In twelve playoff games he logged 9.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per 36 minutes while shooting 58 percent from the floor.
As TKB wrote earlier, the Knicks may have been hoping to sign Martin to a veteran’s minimum contract.
Martin made $437,470 with the Knicks last year, according to Basketball-Reference.
Tommy DeeI’m very curious to find out where Martin’s minutes will come from with the additions of Bargnani and the return of Stoudemire. Woodson has his work cut out for him, particularly up front.
