Knicks targeting Cory Jefferson with 34th pick?

Sam Spiegelman

The Knicks could be targeting Baylor’s Cory Jefferson with the No. 34 pick the team acquired from the Tyson Chandler trade, CBS Sports reported.

Jefferson averaged 19.0 points per game as a senior for the Bears, a year removed from his breakout junior campaign. He’s a strong jump-shooter, which was the main reason for his improvement his junior year, as well as an explosive athlete.

The Knicks have also been linked to P.J. Hairston and Patric Young.

Steph Curry lil bro' dropped 44points in his first playoff game in the DLeague. He has shown tremendous growth and can light it up from the deep. I'd go that way over Hairston

At this point I'm not second guess on any of Phil's moves!

Almost showtime! Are these last couple hours for Shump's Knick career?

@Kenny Kaufman Man we need to keep Shump. We can't make the moment and euphoria get to us. I believe in Phil, but Shump need to stay.

@Kenny Kaufman  Just a hunch, but I don't think so.  Might be the last couple for Larkin's though.

@Sandro Guedes Henderson has much more salary attached than Fournier. They are going stingy for some reason. Probably to fuel the tank.

@Jesse Brand I know.. was hoping we could at least trade our 36th for something we've seen at least in NBA action. Realistic

I'm fine with it but has to be for at least the 21st pick or better.
