After finishing third in the MVP voting, Carmelo Anthony gets another great honor in being named to another All-NBA team.
Lebron James and Kevin Durant were the forwards on the first team and they did deserve that honor this season. Melo had a great year though and there is no shame in him being on the second team.
He led the NBA in scoring, battled through many different injuries during the season and had a better overall game this season as compared to past seasons.
He is still in his prime and one of the best players in the league. He does though have that shoulder injury, which is a concern. But, for now that is a wait and see issue for him when it comes to potential surgery or not.
Melo was the best player the Knicks have seen since Ewing was in his prime and it was great watching him play everyday. Lets hope he gets healthy this summer, without needing surgery, and does it all again next year.
