Raja Bell, who spent most of the last three seasons with the Utah Jazz, worked out with the Knicks on Monday, according to Jared Zwerling of ESPN New York.
Bell signed a three-year contract with the Jazz in 2010, but was waived by the team this past March.
In his last full season, in 2012, he averaged 6.4 PPG and owned a .466 field goal percentage.
Tommy DeeReal GM is reporting Bell stood out in his workout and could be a legitimate option for a veteran contract. He’s a strong defender and shot maker when at his best, but it’s hard not to think his best is behind him at 36.
