Sam SpiegelmanKnicks point guard Raymond Felton is considered probable for Tuesday night’s game at home against the Detroit Pistons.
A groin injury has sidelined Felton since Dec. 23, which was just his second game played since Dec. 10.
Felton is averaging 10.5 points, 5.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds as a starter, playing about 32 minutes per game. His presence means Beno Udrih will move back to the bench in a reserve role. Udrih has averaged 8.8 points, seven assists and 2.6 boars over his past five contests. Udrih’s best game of the season came filling in for Felton on Dec. 27 against the Raptors as the veteran scored 15 points on 6-11 shooting from the field, albeit in a loss.
