The Memphis Grizzlies claimed guard Beno Udrih off waivers, the team announced Thursday.

“It’s hard to reflect on it at this point,’’ Anthony said at the morning shootaround at AmericanAirlines Arena. “We’re rolling with the punches, man. I was laughing (because) somebody was just saying it’s Murphy’s Law. Everything that could go wrong for us is going wrong for us.’’

“All that said, we still got to play basketball,’’ he added. “Ray’s situation is his situation. He’s dealing with that. We support him. As far as this goes, we got to play basketball.’’

Let me get this straight, Wade, Bosh, Melo, and Lebron are all going to opt out, give up $6 MILLION EACH, all 4 to team up in an attempt to win a ring? This includes the fact that Wade WILL NEVER GET $20mil bucks a year again.

I believe it when pigs fly.

Trade Tyson, shump n you have many expiring contracts.....show us what you got mr. Mills. We know you cannot tell us so you are going to have to show us...

Our only hope is now on draft night 2014.

A major move needs to happen, otherwise say goodbye to Melo.

And somehow, Clark and Brown are better than MWP and Beno....no, just no.

Every time i see the Woodson defense ,i think of the movie "House Party" when Martin Lawrence is the DJ and keeps shouting SWTCH( to switch dance partners)!

Woodson still the coach?

so

-over use regulars (felton aka the the who should be on leave, Jr, melo )

-play amare for no reason

-don't give Tyler or new guys real burn

-switch, double leave assignments FOR NO REASON, AS ORDERED

-make a late comeback or lose a early lead

-we didn't "hit our shots "

Woodson is the worst coach I've ever seen. in any sport.. no exaggeration.

@OLDKNICK  I call it the "Woodson Law": Thanks to you, everything will go wrong, FOREVER.

@orlando_knickfan

Bosh could be moved. Mark Cuban wants him and they have the cap space to absorb his contract. Wade's knees are shot, he could opt out for a longer guaranteed deal.It is possible.

@Jaime  Season's not over yet - Woodson is running him into the ground.

@jax13 Trading Tyson now a the deadline was going to bring back OPTIMAL value.  Summer times he'll have value, but not the same in-season and before the draft.

We're obviously not gonna make the playoffs.  Why did they continue to hold on to Chandler then?

Yo chill quit bumping the table!

@Jesse Brand

Wade could opt out and sign a Tim Duncan type deal. Dallas wants Bosh badly and he could be moved.

orlando_knickfan

@Sandro That's the only way, and  Wade will still have to take a cut again because of cap holds.

Wade already hinted that he may not do what he did again though.

Whatever, he wants to play with them he's a traitor and they will still lose because they will be even smaller than they are now.

Agreed but there are going to be many teams looking for a defensive center as a piece to their puzzle. I think okc n Phoenix could be those teams.

Let's see who disappoints in playoffs n then a need will be created. Tyson could have helped okc a lot right now with Perkins going down.

He can't play back to backs nice try tho

Agreed, I wish we had wade as our stat!

@SheSaidSpikeWho  It's a tight race. Both have regressed inmensly as coaches. It's curious that they actually worked together. Mediocirty must have rubbed off.

@SheSaidSpikeWho Yes dantoni is worse. He put the keys of the offense in the hands of a young inexperienced player that avg 6to per game. Ppl give Lin a lot of credit for 7gms. After 7gms MIA shut him down and taught the rest of the league exactly how to do it. Bad for business when you have proven vets and stars

@SheSaidSpikeWho

yes, this is the poorest display of coaching I've ever seen.

he's literally made hundreds of idiotic moves & personally cost us maybe 15 wins on top of his horrid philosophies..

woodson is a joke

@Jesse Brand  Good Lord.

Get a grip.

Dude defends, scores, creates for others, and can take over if he wants to.

And makes less money.

He's not playing backs to backs solely because Spo wants to take care of those knees to have them fresh for the palyoffs.

Many teams do this to take care of their better players.

Comparing Amare to Wade is flat out crazy.

So basically we could only pull this off if we were Miami.

@VerySilentJay @SheSaidSpikeWho  they made a good pair. Woodson until this year (all melo all the time) kept D Antoni's offense in place and said so.

Menwhile Woody is supposed to be the Defensive genius, coached by Red, mentored by Larry Brown etc….Interesting comments made by MettaWP on ESPN the other day about Woody's offense. Metta said, "It's brilliant and ahead of it's time. In order for it to work everyone has to buy in and be lock-down defenders. The thing is some of the guys are lazy and don't buy into it so that's what you see".  Consider the source but Metta knows D.   He also said that Woody reminded him of Jax, that he challenged players out of their comfort zones to get better. "Jax had the triangle and Woody uses switching, and both challenged me to be a better player, I liked that" Metta..(this week a day after he was released)

SheSaidSpikeWho
SheSaidSpikeWho

No but I do think that game played a role in not keeping him. They wanted to try to win and to win you have to go through the heat. I think they felt he wasn't ready to go into win now mode...and they were right. Lin was a great story, no doubt though and he's a smart player, IMO.

SheSaidSpikeWho

Speaking of Harden, when are people going to start really talking about his lack of defense? He got lit up in the 4th qtr last night.

@Kvdaone @SheSaidSpikeWho

Miami shut down James Harden in the NBA finals, so one shouldn't surprised that they could shut down Jeremy Lin. Miami can shut down anyone they want, except a select few.

Everyone remembers the Miami game, but Lin came back and put up 19-13-5 against Cleveland the next game.

SheSaidSpikeWho
SheSaidSpikeWho

I went to that game in Miami. I'll never forget it. It was embarrassing.

SheSaidSpikeWho

Just wanted to know your opinion. They're both terrible. I can't say which is more terrible than the other. At least D'Antoni inflated players stats for trades lol.
