@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN has learned that Oklahoma City is trading Hasheem Thabeet to Philadelphia

The ultimate tanning continues!

Rose hasn't really looked too good in friendly play.

I'm about to join the Knicks! LOL

Isola is saying the Knicks have been trying to trade JR. Probably not real news. I believe Phil is open to trading everyone but Melo if he thinks it makes us better.

@brookdon Hasheem Thabeet should get a medal for living the dream lol. Saw that Philly is waiving him.

@brookdon Melo dodged a missile not going to Chicago. He would have been in the same boat he's been in here the past 4 years with Amar'e. Joakim Noah has had some injury issues in his career himself. Idc how great of a coach Thibs is...without Rose, they're not going anywhere.

@Sandro Guedes literally every move anyone ever makes or anyone the knicks dont sign or trade for you question its ridiculous. that trade meant nothing to the whole entire nba why should it matter to the knicks? sick jersey to bra

I would prefer either of those guys over what we got from the Ellington deal lol

@SheSaidSpikeWho Link?  Out of the "most likely to be traded" guys, I'm most hesitant when it comes to JR Smith.  Faults and all, he's still our 2nd scorer.  To move him and NOT get a scorer better than him could be a dangerous move.

OKC sent cash and Thabeet to Philly. Why not make a little money? Thabeet's contract is not guaranteed until September 1, so Philly can just waive him and put the OKC cash in their pocket.

@phenomenal @SheSaidSpikeWho Sorry I'm having internet issues today but JR posted this earlier on instagram:

They said I wouldn't make it! I did! They said I wouldn't stay! This is my 11th yr! They said you can't shoot like that in the league! I'm on pace to be one of the best shooters the game had ever seen! Bottom line what yall say don't me sh@$ What I do says everything! #Gone

Just one question for J.R., who are "they"?

Frank Isola @FisolaNYDN

"They" also claim the Knicks have been trying to trade J.R. I believe "they" be right about that one.

Now of course this could just be Isola mouthing off.

I agree with you though. I wouldn't move JR unless we're getting a 2nd scorer back/someone who can create their own shot. As much of a headache JR an be, he is our only 2nd option.

Between the threat to Jennings, the drug suspension, the betrayal tweet to Dolan, and proclaiming himself a starter as soon as Fish was announced as coach, JR has punched his ticket out of town as soon as Phil can find a taker.

The one thing "they" can all agree upon is that J.R. had a great season in 2012-13 while last season was a complete "you-know-what show."

@Sandro Guedes @stillmatic  I agree sandro .. he is more of a two way player then outlaw and acy for sure ... what is his contract looking like tho?

@Knicks_Fanatic @phenomenal @SheSaidSpikeWho Agreed! Yes, JR is very talented but...how many chances does he need? Idc if he's the 2nd best scorer on this team. He's too much trouble. The Partying and drinking during Playoff games. Being unprepared for afternoon games. Last year, the drug suspension, stuff with his brother, lack of professionalism, the whole untying of the sneakers stuff. I'd much rather keep Shump and Timmy. Develop them properly.

@Knicks_Fanatic @phenomenal @SheSaidSpikeWho Phil has shown willingness to trade anyone if it means getting a strong return, and this includes every single asset we've got.

Wether people like it or not, JR's our only legit secondary option, and he's proved it the past 2 seasons. Once he got rolling and got 100% healthy, his level of play increased tremendously.

He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed or the most disciplined, but he's extremely underrated -on both ends-, and as it stands, he's our most reliable two way guard.

@NoVaCaInE @Knicks_Fanatic @phenomenal @SheSaidSpikeWho The minute Woodson let go of his leash was the moment JR started acting like an idiot.

In his 6MOY season he was unstoppable and no one was b!tching about his play.

Now think how he can perform under the presence of Phil.

His talent is off the charts, and trust me, at his price, you won't find a better player, not even close.

@Sandro Guedes @knicks732

I believe that Delfino will play at some point this season. Phil didn't want to pay Dudley $4.25 million in 2015-16. That will cut into our cap space. He is trying to clear cap space, not use it on Dudley.

@VerySilentJay @NoVaCaInE @Knicks_Fanatic @phenomenal @SheSaidSpikeWho JR can not be depended on. He's proven that over and over since he's been here. The antics and lack of professionalism. Idk man I'm over JR.

The 6MOY season he was playing for a contract. The antics started up again right after he got paid. JR is talented, everyone know this. He just isn't worth the headache. For all the talent he has, he doesn't even show up in big games. The last year we were in the Playoffs, Shump was our 2nd best player. I'd much rather give Shump and TH Jr. JR's mins. Properly develop them.
