Tommy Dee, theKnicksBlog.comFirst of all, as I’m driving back from the city yesterday I had the privilege of listening to Brendan Brown who describes the game exactly the way it needs to be. Not will silly stats, but with perfectly placed bits of information critical to the game at that time. I contemplated staying in my car in the driveway just to listen. I recommend the listen if you’re a true student of the game.
So as I get settled in my house I found myself with a really awesome sense of comfort that there was absolutely no chance the Knicks were losing this game. I have had that feeling since Jeff Van Gundy circa 1997-98. That feeling of a bad team coming into the building in November and walking out with a loss FOR SURE.
At no point was I concerned that the Wizards would win. It was a nice feeling and as the Knicks push towards the top of Eastern Conference and the top of the Atlantic they are going to win those home games and try to pick off a few road wins in the process that they may not think they can get.
That’s how the tally of winsgrows towards 50 and beyond.
