Here's the thing about Woodson. Dude wants to get fired. It's time to move on. Put him out of this misery. He'll be fine. Dantoni left in a similar way and he then got the freaking laker job (over phil jackson ???). He's lost the team. If anyone denies that, I'd ask what would be different if he had lost it?

4 games back from the "tanking" Celtics without their best player....SMH.  What a miserable season this has been.

@BiggieSmalls

Biggie, I have to give it up to you for remaining so positive.  I will always root for this team - but am discouraged at what I have seen up to this point.  Yes, the standings in this division says the Knicks are still in the race - but, my concern is in the way the Knicks are playing.

I don't believe the Knicks are a 7-17 team, the record should be better.  But that comes with playing better. At this point, one or two wins are not going to excite me.  And now with all the injuries - I have bigger concerns.  Our guard play has been really bad and I believe Woodson has not kept this team together.  I don't like the bickering from the players and to say the end of the Wizards' game should have been handled better may be a bit of an understatement.  So many things went wrong in those final seconds.  From the wrong players on the court, missed assignments, no timeout called, confusion, bickering with each other, walking the ball up the court... that was unacceptable in my opinion.  It was bad on so many different levels.

That being said, I still root for the team and do hope they turn it around.  I'm not worried about the standings right now, that will work itself out in the end.  Knicks need to play better.

@BiggieSmalls Well I haven't given up, but admit that we are watching our team melt down before our eyes. I am not looking at the standings but rather the product on the floor and it's a disaster. I hope we get it together, but every bad game--losing to boston by 40 at home, the game the other night, etc.--makes that harder and harder. It's not just about missing shots, it's about missing leadership.

@BiggieSmalls  this I will agree on. We are only 4 games back in our own division and everybody is saying bye bye to the season. If we go on a 5 game winning streak, we are back in it. So everyone needs to just chill and relax at this point. Lately we have been playing better believe it or not. We are 4-4 in our last 8, which means to me that we are slowly but surely getting our groove back. But I will say this, the defense HAS to get better. Yes I know we have some week defenders, but team defense has to get better for sure or we will never turn this around.

I believe.

Lets go Knicks!

@zdiddy4nyk Rockets might get two firsts, and two decent players from SAC for Asik. And for Chandler, who is far better that Asik and makes only a bit more $, we can get an unproductive Pau Gasol. Our FO is a joke.

@BiggieSmalls Agree to a point. I wouldn't want Houston, esp if he is being forced to do it.

Hollins would take the gig, but would want 3 years probably. The contract would be the sticking point. But this is really a good spot for an interm coach because it's a good roster and it would be relatively easy to get this team playing above 500. Thus, new coach = savior. It worked for Woodson.

@bigdishing @BiggieSmalls we just need everyone to just say f it and leave it out on the floor every night and win the "winnable" games! They have to trust one another! A lot of times out there, they don't look like they have the trust like they had last year...

I've been a fan since Bob McAdoo.  I've had plenty opportunities to jump ship and never have.  Funny, I'm the type of person that can curse my Knicks out for what they are doing out there, but let a non-Knicks fan talk about me team - then it's on!

@bigdishing @William Lucca Jr @BiggieSmalls I agree with you there. I think Shumpert has regressed due to his mentally being tough with trade rumors and his issues with woodson. He hasn't shown maturity at all through this process. and woodson's love fest for jr has to stop. if hes cold, sit his ass down. point blank.

@William Lucca Jr @bigdishing @BiggieSmalls I think they took the fact that they'd be a good team for granted. They were not prepared coming into the season and they have just been folding in this adversity. They are mentally weak and unprofessional, for the most part. The lineups are a small part of it.

@bigdishing @William Lucca Jr @BiggieSmalls and I think woodson is doing a horrible job this year as well. For some reason, its like he lost his sense of coaching and how he did things last year. My thing also is.....why the heck did he not go with the lineup he put out there when we were on our winning streak when he had the chance. The starting lineup of Chandler, Melo, Shump, prigs and felton was amazing during that stretch. Grated, chandler was hurt, but bargs was out there and they probably would have won more games thatn now. Id say they would be at least 10-14...don't you think so?
