Tommy DeeIf you follow this site or my twitter feed you know there isn’t a bigger supporter in the belief of Carmelo Anthony than me. Deep down I feel that the guy has the ability to grab playoff greatness by the horns and deliver.
Game 4 has to be that time.
I thought Game 3 was it. I had the feeling that he was ready to have that moment and strangle home court back. But he, as well as his teammates, couldn’t rebound the basketball on the defensive glass. They were simply out worked and it was completely unacceptable.
Well, Melo can’t accept it in Game 4.
If you want to be considered a superstar and you asked for the situation, have your best game of the season tomorrow. You don’t have to have a triple double, but you have to rebound, make a few threes and get to the free throw line.
No one here is asking you to be Lebron, but James answered his critics and persevered. He looked his weaknesses in the face and made them strengths. I refuse to ask Melo to take away from his strengths, but he has to do what he does best the best at the best possible time.
Be great tomorrow. It’s not that much to ask from a player capable of greatness.
