Classic example of a player trying to prove there is still some brilliance left, like a pitcher still trying to miss bats. The difference? McGrady doesn’t have enough craftiness or pitches. He can’t play at the speed and just doesn’t do enough in limited minutes in my opinion. There’s obviously nothing to lose by bringing him in, but only if you can guarantee him minutes.
