Knicks looking to add another?

Our moles in the D-League have informed us that the Knicks have been heavily scouting shot-blocker Courtney Sims, who played with Demetris Nichols with the Iowa Energy and have been for some time.

Sims had a cup of coffee with the Phoenix Suns earlier this year.

We’ve talked about Sims at length, and even had a report from a fellow Gym Rat from one of his games earlier this year.

The Knicks currently have 14 players on their roster, including Cuttino Mobley. The team may be thinking that with it’s playoff hopes nearly non-existent, and the strong chance that Danilo Gallinari will miss the rest of the season, they may want to start evaluating players for the future.

Sims has been destroying the D-League lately, and just 10 days ago had a 25 point, 15 rebound and 5 block performance, but he had little to no impact in Phoenix. He’s not physically ready for the NBA.

Not sure if the Knicks are ready to make an offer, but it could come soon.
