Stp. Giving. Up. Picks. We could have drafted a star in a crazy deep draft this year, but no. When are we going to stop the stupidity?

A lot of you clowns criticized the Carmelo trade because the Knicks gave up "ONE FIRST ROUND PICK" and now you same clowns want to give "TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS FOR A PG COMING OFF OF AN ACL INJURY." How stupid is that? Then if he have chronic knee problems your going to be blaming Isaiah Thomas for the trade!

The only person apparently qualified to speak on Knick issues, George Karl, will grace NY's with his big brain on 98.7 ESPN in a minute for those who care.

According to @stevekylerNBA Carmelo could join Miami if LeBron, Wade, Bosh & Melo all sign for $14 million. That is the Heat media's dream.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN

Couple of things; Carmelo has said repeatedly that LeBron was "smart" for joining Wade & Bosh. Also, never ever underestimate Pat Riley.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN

So James Dolan still has Pat Riley to worry about...and irate Knick fans (yes, that is redundant) send your hate mail to @stevekylerNBA

LMAO, imagine all of them opting out and doing that.

Knicks as we know are trying at least, but I'm pretty sure nothing will come from it.

Rondo is still young n has never been injury prone before.....he is worth two first rounders for a team in desperate need for a starting pg

Could see it happening, Riley pulls off everything and it would mean Melo taking less to win a championship

I probably would give up on the NBA if that were to happen. Talk about lack of competitive spirit.

@Jesus Blas Sadly the league has seen one ex Celtic hook up another one. This time it would be Bird and Ainge. Geesh!

@Jesus Blas Regardless, if rumors about us looking into Teague are surfacing I'd take that to mean that Rondo is a definite no go.

@Jesus Blas  Hill, Copelan, 2 picks for Rondo straight up.  However, I contend that Rondo on the Pacers hurts Indy. Hill can stretch the floor much more than Rondo and plays better D.

@Jesus Blas its just a starting off point to all other teams. don't call my phone unless youre prepared to offer a minimal package of at least 2 first rounders.

They'd have to flip granger.

He really comes off as a bitter a hole for throwing his old player under the bus. Especially when more often than not Melo saved his ass, and being that his team was even less successful than us in the playoffs when Melo left.

@kneggyknik

Felton was one of those players, are you upset about that?

Mozgov is averaging how much this year?

Gallo and Chandler were good role players that only a fool would make them deal breakers when it came to getting Carmelo!

What your selling I ain't buying. It was more than just two role players and two scrubs!

@Elvis Maduro @SheSaidSpikeWho

Why because that would mean Miami is the Yankees of Basketball? I found it funny how Yankee fans where upset with Lebron and Miami and wanted the commissioner to step in and stop it.

I disagree I think Rondo is in play, Knicks trying to get word out it's not rondo or bust

brookdon

Rondo is a much better defender than Hill though I agree that with their play style Rondo isn't that necessary.

Baseball does have a luxury cap. it's not the same but they do have limits. It's just the Yankees don't mind paying the fine just like Nets owner didn't mind paying the fine. At the end of the day, Yankees snatch up the best free agents. Something people are complaining about when it comes to Miami. Said rumor is Miami would sign all 3 under the cap. What is wrong with that? What is the complaint? the rules are being followed. Just like Yankees follow the rule.

Yankees may have bought ONE ring but they stay making money. They stay investing on the team. They stay winning even when they lose. I hate they Yankees but I don't understand the hypocrisy of Yankee fans being upset if Miami snatches the best free agents and still within the cap.

solar_lion

@brookdon Exactly! One has no cap. The other has a punitive cap and limits what a big market big resource team like the Knicks can do.

Baseball and Basketball are incomparable.
