Carmelo Anthony sets All Star Game record with 8 3-pointers

The East defeated the West 163-155 in tonights NBA All Star Game. During the game, Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points on 10 for 18 from the field and 8 for 13 from behind the 3-point arc. Those 8 3’s set an NBA All Star Game record. Anthony came short of being named the games MVP. Those honors went to the Cleveland Cavaliers Kyrie Irving who scored 31 points and added 14 assists.

Stp. Giving. Up. Picks. We could have drafted a star in a crazy deep draft this year, but no. When are we going to stop the stupidity?

After listening to Karl i see why he isn't working!

A lot of you clowns criticized the Carmelo trade because the Knicks gave up "ONE FIRST ROUND PICK" and now you same clowns want to give "TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS FOR A PG COMING OFF OF AN ACL INJURY." How stupid is that? Then if he have chronic knee problems your going to be blaming Isaiah Thomas for the trade!

The only person apparently qualified to speak on Knick issues, George Karl, will grace NY's with his big brain on 98.7 ESPN in a minute for those who care.

Knicks are interested in Jeff Teague

Udrih Shump and Barg for Teague Cunningham and Brand

Knicks as we know are trying at least, but I'm pretty sure nothing will come from it.

Kyrie had seen the writing on the wall and stopped feeding Anthony (As much). George, even Bron started taking some wayward shots while Melo was open. Melo was going to get MVP had he pressed it, but he wasn't going to risk injury for it. In the end, he just had fun and wanted the "W".

Knicks should try and preserve Thjr................send Tyson to the Suns for a 1st rounder .........and send boston...bargs, and 2  1st rounders instead !

When Grunewald traded all those assets for Bargs when Toronto wanted to give him away, the season was determined. Those assets should have been used for Lowry.   Grunewald stands in para delicto with Layden for the infamous McDyess trade.  It will take a miracle to bring in a quality point guard now.

Hard to see why the Hawks would deal Teague. They are under the cap, have cap space next year, and don't have a replacement to take his place.

Rondo is still young n has never been injury prone before.....he is worth two first rounders for a team in desperate need for a starting pg

Could see it happening, Riley pulls off everything and it would mean Melo taking less to win a championship

I probably would give up on the NBA if that were to happen. Talk about lack of competitive spirit.

@Jesus Blas  Hill, Copelan, 2 picks for Rondo straight up.  However, I contend that Rondo on the Pacers hurts Indy. Hill can stretch the floor much more than Rondo and plays better D.

@Jesus Blas its just a starting off point to all other teams. don't call my phone unless youre prepared to offer a minimal package of at least 2 first rounders.

@Jesus Blas but pacers probably offering Granger.......and dude is completely done !

They'd have to flip granger.

He really comes off as a bitter a hole for throwing his old player under the bus. Especially when more often than not Melo saved his ass, and being that his team was even less successful than us in the playoffs when Melo left.

@tifoso6

Assuming that Grunwald was onboard with that deal and it wasn't CAA and Dolan making that trade.

@tifoso6  grunwald was scared as shizz and he panicked. lost his damn job anyway.

They like the guy they drafted last year. Dennis Schroeder. Maybe they think he's ready

Ferry does not like his contract....they had to match the offer bucks gave him

@kneggyknik

Felton was one of those players, are you upset about that?

Mozgov is averaging how much this year?

Gallo and Chandler were good role players that only a fool would make them deal breakers when it came to getting Carmelo!

What your selling I ain't buying. It was more than just two role players and two scrubs!

I disagree I think Rondo is in play, Knicks trying to get word out it's not rondo or bust

brookdon

Rondo is a much better defender than Hill though I agree that with their play style Rondo isn't that necessary.

Granger's contract expires at the end of the season, i think

@brookdon

He hasn't played much. Shelvin Mack has been good on the second unit. I guess if they get back THJR and/or a pick they might deal him to us.

SheSaidSpikeWho

@brookdon  I think he's been in and out of the D-League. Mack is the guy they like at the moment.

@jax13 4 yr 32 million contract is not too bad ....for a Top 15 NBA PG ,that i consider Teague.

Knicks_Fanatic

@jax13

OK, they don't like the contract, but trading him is a horse of a different color. Perhaps they think Shelvin Mack can start.  Schroder isn't ready.
