Felton Has Bone Bruise in Both Hands; Camby Running but Still Not Ready to Return

Though he continues to play, Raymond Felton revealed he has a bone bruise in his right hand to go with a previous similar injury in his left hand, according to a report from Marc Berman of the Post. Felton will continue to play despite the pain in both hands.

It’s worth keeping in mind the pain Felton’s playing through when griping about his spotty shooting of late, and it’s certainly possible to admire the bulldoggedness of the point guard’s desire to stay on the floor.

In the same report, Berman also notes that Marcus Camby, who’s been suffering through plantar fascia (which is not a rare poisonous flower), has begun running but is still not cleared to return to practice and will miss his ninth straight game. It’s sort of remarkable really how little the absence of Camby has mattered so far this season, given how high the expectations were for his contribution coming into the season.
