One number really jumps off the box score. Amar’e Stoudemire was a -29 in 20 minutes off the bench. Let me write that out. MINUS TWENTY-NINE!

If the Knicks expect to turn this around, they need to get something from their bench. Two points in the first half is inexcusable. 6-for-25 from the field for the bench is inexcusable. JR Smith had a short spurt for 7 points in the 3rd quarter, but that’s about it.

The Knicks looked solid in the first half, going to the locker room only down 4, but it all went down the tubes afterwards. Andrea Bargnani didn’t give much in the second half (as usual), scoring only four points. ┬áCarmelo Anthony needs some help with the scoring from somewhere.

Bright spot is Kenyon Martin. He had a well-rounded 6 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. He was a +17.

Next Game: The Knicks visit Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, Nate Robinson and the Denver Nuggets on Friday, Nov. 29th at 9:00pm
