Martin and Camby are Doubtful For Game vs. Thunder

Matthew Falkenbury

Well it seems that anyone taller than 6’9 on the Knicks not named Steve Novak is dealing with injuries either that are long term issues or nicks and bruises that develop into something worse.

In terms of the game against the Thunder, this could be a problem as the Knicks will have only one true big man, Chandler, to go up against Perkins, Ibaka, Collison and Thabeet. Plus losing a good defender like Martin who for the most part played very well in the last match up with OKC.

Getting this front line healthy for the post season, especially with potential match ups with big teams like Boston, Chicago and Indiana, is important and getting some rest will help them get there.

The Knicks will have a lot going against them against the Thunder it seems. But, even with the injuries, location of the game and size advantage the Thunder have, this team loves proving people wrong.

Maybe, they will prove the doubters wrong again and make it a dozen wins in a row.
