“I’m impressed with everybody. Guys came back in shape. I mentioned this when we started that we were going to do a lot of running because I believe in order to play, you’ve got to be conditioned to play. They’ve gotten through most of the running part of camp and now we’re starting to scale back a little bit and start to teach and put in some offensive sets.”
Tommy DeeWoodson continues the trend of coaches pleased with conditioning as it’s too early in the season to start calling players out, but it seems that the central focus is there. There is a quiet confidence about this team that I am really liking so far. It’s boring, but boring can also be a really, really good thing.
